IV Fluid Rehydration

Dehydration can result from various causes, including viral illnesses like COVID-19 or the flu, gastroenteritis, food poisoning, or excessive alcohol consumption (leading to classic hangover symptoms). Common symptoms include dry mouth, reduced urine output, dizziness, and nausea and vomiting. Fortunately, MyHydrate offers professional in-home treatment, including intravenous (IV) rehydration, as well as medications to relieve nausea and vomiting — helping you recover quickly and comfortably.

Our treatment is based on recognised best practice protocols, and following a face-to-face assessment, may include;

• IV Fluid Administration
• Anti nausea medication (either IM, IV, or Oral) (extra)
• Assessment of vital signs including Blood Pressure, Heart Rate, SPO2, Blood Glucose Level and Urine if indicated
• Phlebotomy (blood tests) if indicated.   

This treatment is either provided in conjunction with your usual medical practitioner, or independently depending on your need.
