Aclasta

Aclasta (zoledronic acid) is a recognised prescription treatment used to strengthen bones and reduce the risk of fractures in conditions such as osteoporosis.

Aclasta works by slowing bone breakdown, helping to maintain bone density and improve long-term skeletal health. Aclasta is typically administered as an intermittent intravenous infusion, often once yearly, depending on the indication and specialist advice.

Treatment requires a prescription or referral from your GP or specialist to ensure it is clinically appropriate and aligned with your ongoing care.

We provide Aclasta infusions in the comfort of your own home, delivered by experienced registered health professionals. A small intravenous cannula is placed into a vein in your hand or arm, and the medication is administered as a slow infusion over approximately 20–40 minutes, with monitoring throughout.

Appointment time: approximately 1 hour, allowing for preparation, infusion, and post-treatment observation — all without the need to attend a clinic or hospital.
